National Sun Yat-sen University(NSYSU) was established in 1980 in Kaohsiung city, south part of Taiwan and also the second largest city in Taiwan. The campus is uniquely situated at the scenic Hsitzi Bay, the crossing of hills and sea, surrounded by the Longevity Mountain and the Taiwan Strait, and adjacent to the Kaohsiung Harbor. The spectacular beach offers a natural venue for recreation and water sports, and the sunset is the most popular scenery sought by tourists from all over the world. At the back of campus is Mountain Chai(Monkey mountain), which natures variety of natural habitats, most well-known being the Formosan Rock Macaque (as in photo) & plants offer great recreational experience.
